Finishing & Binding Services

Our print shop is a full service printer, which means we can do just about anything. In addition to printing, we provide the following services to help you complete your project.

Book Binding:

Hard cover, soft cover, or coil binding.

Collation:

Collation is the process of gathering stacks of individual sheets and assembling them in "order." Our copiers can collate and insert, however some projects need to be done by hand. We can help you with hand collating!

Cutting:

We have very sophisticated, computerized, digital paper cutters that are extremely fast and accurate. Our commercial paper cutters feature high-pressure hydraulic clamps to prevent paper shifting and razor-sharp carbon steel blades to guarantee the most precise cuts.
We also have multiple large-sized hand rotary trimmers to use for your custom projects and oversize pieces.

Die Cutting:

Add some pizazz to your project with a unique die cut! Make your business card with rounded corners or with a fun shape on the top. With access to state-of-the-art die-cutting equipment, and our creative staff, we will create an image that is memorable. Die cutting is also great for table tents, book tabs, hang tag key hole cuts, invitations, rack cards, or just about anything.

Drilling Holes:

It may come as a surprise to you, but yes, the holes don't come automatic to most papers. Which is a good thing, because we can customize holes anywhere you want and with many sizes. We have drill bits from 1/8" round, 3/16", 1/4", 3/8". We have several machines that can help us get the hole in just the right spot for your project, drilling up to 250 sheets at a time.

Foam Board Mounting:

We use foamcore and will mount directly. We also carry easel-backs for table top displays.

Folding:

Our finishing department provides a high-speed folding solution with many different options. Our folding exceeds 5,000 sheets per hour, depending on the folding format. We can double parallel, half, letter, "Z" fold, and many more options. The largest sheet we can fold is 11 by 17 inches. 

Lamination:

This is the plastic coating that prolongs the life of your project! We have several machines that range from a heavy 5 mil lamination at 25" wide and since it is on a roll, we can go fairly long! We also have single-sided lamination that also assists in protecting posters that are mounted onto foamcore.

Numbering:

Many projects require numbering, from raffle tickets to invoices. We can number a variety of papers and sheet sizes. With our variable data technology we can even number in the font of your choice!

Perforation:

This is a technique that puts small "slits" in a dashed line so that the paper can be torn cleanly and easily. Our wide-variety of perforating blades gives you flexibility when designing pieces and with using different stocks.

Rounded Corners:

For the quick and simple project we can use our hand-machine to avoid a die and die cutter charges. We have three sizes of round corners.

Scoring:

We do lots of it! This is a process of putting a "dent" on the sheet where it gets folded, like with greeting cards. Usually this is necessary with heavy papers, to avoid "cracking" on the sheet and to maintain a smooth, even fold.

Shipping and Delivery:

Depending on the size, weight, volume, and destination, we have the right shipping service to accommodate your specific needs.

Stapling:

From booklet stapling, saddle stapling, oversize staples, and even just the top corner of the packet, we can can stitch it together with any one of our automated machines. We also have a hand-operated machine for those more delicate projects.
