Becky Raney's Bio
Becky Raney was born and raised in Maple Falls, next to Silver Lake Park. Daughter of Wayne and Danna Beech, she is 3rd Generation of Whatcom County. She graduated from Mt. Baker High School then received her college degree from The Art Institute Of Seattle.
She managed Kinko's Copies when she was 19, and after two years, transferring to the model Kinko’s store in Santa Barbara, CA. This store was a 24 hour store, where she managed approximately 80 employees when she was only 21. She then moved onto a printshop environment, looking for more creativity in color and corporate identity design. Expanding her skill levels, she became a graphic designer for a National Embroidery Advertising Specialty company for over 5 years.
With the desire to come back to beautiful Whatcom County, Becky enrolled her husband and together created Print & Copy Factory in 1992. The business opened in a small house located on Irongate Road, when absolutely nothing else was in the neighborhood. The business was an instant success. They grew over 300 percent the first year and have continued to build and change their business over the years into a powerful marketing resource center that includes web development, social media and marketing classes.
Here is what Becky has to say about her business;
“We are in the business of printing. However, we feel that our company produces something much larger than ink and toner on paper. Our company produces success for your business. We take pride in the fact that the products we create help to make your business more successful. We hope to show that we are working hard to stay on the leading edge of Business-2-Business technology, creating marketing tools and philosophy that you can benefit from."
